The Plain Pattern Project - Dress 1

Well, as I already said before I am attending "The Plain Pattern Project" challenge with this vintage pattern...

For thefirst dressI picked up thefabric thathasbeen leftin boxwith the remnants for satin.

Basically....I don't like to wear satin, but thedressdoes not looktoograndin combinationwithlong-sleeved T-shirtand cardigan. hair is a mess...I don't know what to do with it.

Presentation of a coat

I have to show you one of my vintage stockings.
I would saythat thestockings arefrom the30's.They are made of silk with cotton foot and welt.
Oxford's are from Bata

My Coat

Coat is a garmentwhich Iwas afraid tosew.I thought thatI haven'tthe righttools for makingthe perfectcoat....industrialpress for example isa toolthat you can notreplacewith anythingelse. My first attempta few years agoconfirmedthis, althoughI thinkthat the fault wasonthe choice offabrics...wool fabricwassoft andrarelywoven, and the liningwas firmer..padded for extra warmth.
Well, this time Ichosebetter quality fabric with classic polyester lining andit turned outmuch better. I am satisfied.

Time For a TrenchCoat

SinceI did notfindin storeslady-lengthtrench coat, that is,below the knee,Ihaveto sewit myself.
I have to saythat there wasmuch to dowith all thoseextras thatgo along with thetrench coat, butit was worth it.
