Navy Blue Wide Skirt

The other day I was cleaning the closet .. I always do it at the turn of the seasons. I brought up a bag from the basement full of clothes I "might wear someday." Then I remembered what my colleague said once to me if I have extra clothes I shouldn't throw it because she knows a single mom that could use it. It is not worn clothes but clothes that had become too small. So, I emptied the bag of clothes, after a few years of not wearing it, and I made some woman happy.

This is my new skirt, made of navy blue twill, with Burda pattern 5/2012 just like the other one I made last year. Wide and comfortable.
I just love wide skirts during the summer months. No heat in them ;)
